I’m reaching out to you today not just as the CEO of Vive Concierge but as someone who has personally felt the acute sting of healthcare disparities. When my brother, a kind-hearted soul who found himself unhoused and neglected by the system, passed away from preventable causes, it was a stark and painful reminder of the urgent need for change. His story is not just one of loss but a call to action that I carry with me every day. My co-founder, Akwi Devine, brings a similarly personal commitment to our mission. As a seasoned healthcare practitioner, she has witnessed the stark contrast in care received by the affluent versus the impoverished, further fueling our shared passion to reform the healthcare landscape.
Together, driven by these profound experiences and a deep-seated disgust with the inequities ingrained in our healthcare system, we founded Vive Concierge in 2017. Our goal was clear from the start: to not only challenge but completely overturn the existing barriers within healthcare, ensuring that no other family would have to endure what mine did. Our journey began with a bold vision to democratize healthcare access and it continues to grow into an even more ambitious movement today.
