VIVE Concierge Announces Series ‘A’ Funding Round Led by Clinical Reference Laboratory

VIVE Concierge to publicly release its broad based telemedicine platform that will democratize care by providing access to all patients through a concierge model

Los Angeles, 19, December, 2022 – VIVE, a virtual care and lab services company will be releasing it’s fully comprehensive virtual care platform that makes both physicians and patients fully empowered to improve the patient experience and outcomes. The platform, with flexible cost structures to meet everyone’s needs across the economic spectrum, announced it has closed a broad based partnership with Clinical Reference Laboratory (CRL), one of the nation’s largest private clinical testing laboratories. The investment will accelerate the platform introduction and expansion into the market via leveraging CRL’s considerable national footprint.

“We have the best healthcare providers, research institutions, medical technology and innovation to meet the evolving needs of an increasingly diverse and stratified society. But and it is a big but, access to care it is not universally available. Our goal at VIVE is to break this convention and bring the best healthcare this country has to offer to the greatest number of people. I’ve lost family due to limited access to care, so I am passionate about this mission. In the modern era healthcare should be a right, not a privilege. We went into the market to raise $20 million to fulfill that mission and CRL, already a valued partner that we had successfully worked, stepped up and in to help us meet our goals.”

“We are wholly aligned with Vive and their vision and see them as a key and valued long term partner” said Robert Thompson, CRL’s CEO. “They are an impressive group that is not your garden variety start-up. They are doing special things and solving some real problems that we have in healthcare in this country. I’m excited to see what the future holds for our collaboration” he added.

VIVE’s network of specialists are diverse in practice, background, expertise and training. All are committed to delivering healthcare services in the most seamless way possible–delivering care to their patients at the point of need. Patients can more readily access care and integrate their care providers’ delivery into a single, private, point of care.

“It is almost impossible to provide consistent and comprehensive care to L.A.’s almost 70,000 persons experiencing homelessness,” said Dr. Medell Briggs, Chief of Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, UCLA Hospital and Clinic System; and Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA. “However, working with VIVE, which has designed an innovative a broad based patient coordination care tool, physicians and other clinicians providing street-side medical attention can ensure that patients can have access tocare that is as robust as they deserve. We are moving them from critically important episodic urgent care to prevention in ways no one has done before. It’s quite revolutionary and leading edge in every way and is setting new standards across the spectrum”.

The VIVE Concierge Platform, which is accessible through an app, creates a new way for patients and providers to connect and curate healthcare. Its flexibility and convenience allows for more frequent check-ins and for answers and support at any hour of the day. Same day primary and diagnostic care can be accessed in the palm of your hand–allowing members to feel better faster. Members can also build long-term health through the VIVE Wellness Hub– which enables the creation of highly personalized preventive and integrative care plans.

“We have been working with VIVE on a nationwide roll out of in home STI test kits given recent surges and have been very impressed with its technology and commitment to serve hard to reach members of our community,” said Robert Thompson, chief executive officer at Clinical Reference Laboratory. “The healthcare industry is long overdue for an accessibility correction, Vive has the technology, approach and vision to make a real difference.”
